Hourglass is one of my favorite luxury beauty brands. Their products are very high quality and look and feel glamorous. Their ambient lighting powders are a staple in my makeup collection. I was super excited to give these products a try, especially since I had never tried any Hourglass lipsticks before! The verdict is in… you need these splurge-worthy products.

Ambient Lighting Edit Volume 4 Palette | $80.00

This limited edition palette features four bestselling and two new, exclusive powders that allow you to create a flawlessly lit complexion. The palette is travel-friendly and contains everything you need to create a finished and flawless complexion. It’s available in a limited edition metallic pink compact.

You’ll be able to finish, brighten, contour, and highlight your skin with this single product. The powders are formulated with Photoluminescent Technology to capture, diffuse, and soften surrounding light for skin that appears softer, younger, and lit from within.

There’s no other way to say it besides I’m obsessed with this palette. The top row of powders are perfect for setting under your eyes, your entire face, or even targeted highlighting for a natural look. The bronzer is perfect for giving you a sun-kissed glow. The two blushes are perfect and I find that the both of them go together with most any look I create. Do not let the swatch photos of these products mislead you – the products definitely apply better with a makeup brush. You really have to try these powders out to see the true beauty of them.

Confession Refillable Lipsticks | $34.00 each

The Confession Ultra Slim Lipsticks deliver creamy, saturated, long wearing color with a satin finish without smudging or feathering. They typically come in a gorgeous gold tube but the rose gold tube is limited edition. You can purchase these shades individually for $34.00 or the in limited edition sets that come with the rose gold packaging. There are two sets included in these photographs.

I love the idea that you can buy refillable lipsticks for these sets and that the refills come with their own cap, for easy storage when you swap out the lipstick. The formula of these shades are truly wonderful. They apply smoothly onto the lips and provide full and opaque coverage with one swipe. The formula is comfortable to wear throughout the day and provides a nice sheen to the lips. I experienced zero feathering with these lipsticks and they did not leave my lips feeling dry or seeking hydration.
