Review: Klorane Gentle Shampoo With Oat Milk & Dry Shampoo

The brand, Klorane, is a little French gem that has quite a few special products. Based on the ‘power of plants,’ Klorane’s easy-to-use formulas are selected for their quality, safety, and the ability to transform your hair using only the purest plant extracts.

We reviewed their Dry Shampoo in Allure magazine last year. And even Real Housewives of New York City, Bethenny Frankel listed it as one of her favorite products. So when we received a sample of their Gentle Shampoo with Oat Milk, our new editor, Yona, volunteered to try it. See Yona’s review below.

When I first smelled this shampoo, I could not place the scent but it somehow reminded me of breakfast. Then I read the label and saw that it contained oat milk: bingo! I’m an oat lover from way back. And it turns out oat milk as good for your hair as it is for your tummy.

This shampoo left my hair very soft and smooth, with none of the little irritating fly-aways that some shampoos cause. In fact, it was so gentle and nourishing that I did not even feel the need to use crème rinse after the wash—nice time saver there. The shampoo is pretty concentrated, so that even a small dollop in the palm produced a lavish head full of suds. It also washed out easily and left my hair smelling fresh and clean, not heavily perfumed.

I’d give this one a thumbs up.
