Makeup Review, Swatches: Urban Decay Moondust Eyeshadows - Glittery, Cream To Powder Finish 2013

Gorgeous, glittery and dazzling are just a few words to describe the new Urban Decay Moondust Eyeshadows ($20.00 each). Moondust is like no other shadow. Microfine bits of iridescent sparkle are infused with intense hues and lush 3-D metallics for an overall effect that is just glorious.

Each color has a really luxe, upscale vibe and a gorgeous diamond-like effect. As soon as they launched at Sephora, I noticed many of their cast members swatching these seven new über sparkly shades… and I wanted in!

Once again, a super-secret formula was created to give Moondust an amazing and unique effect when applied. It feels like a cream yet goes on like a powder to create a smooth, reflective look.

Like their other eyeshadows, each Moondust shade comes in a new compact with the cool pop-out feature. You can pop these shadows out of their compacts and place them into one of UD‘s customizable Build Your Own Palettes ($10.00 – $18.00) to create your own travel-friendly collection.

I personally fell for all six and cannot wait to wear them. They have such an unbelievable sparkle to them; they are simply amazing and will certainly be eye-catching when worn!

Colors available are: Moonspoon (medium gray with bright silver sparkle), Diamond Dog (deep brown with white-gold sparkle), Intergalactic (medium purple with bright silver sparkle), Space Cowboy (light champagne with bright silver sparkle), Glitter Rock (metallic pink with pink 3-D sparkle), Zodiac (smoky black with blue-green shift and blue-green 3-D sparkle, which has already become a UD staff favorite ) and Stargazer (metallic lime-gold with gold 3-D sparkle).

Nicole mixed it up with Zodiac and Stargazer!

Note that these compacts are pale silver instead of deep gunmetal like their other iconic shadows, making them easier to spot in your makeup bag or palette.
