Talking beauty is just what we do on a daily basis. But when you throw Drew Barrymore into the mix, then the conversation goes from a childhood friend’s cat-eye look, her favorite discontinued lipgloss shades to Chinese food (she’s a pregnant mama after all)!

Her cosmetic line, FLOWER Beauty, has proven itself as a makeup force to be reckoned with, available at all Wal-Mart store locations and online. But what Drew brings to her Spring 2014 line are new colors, formulations and textures that surpass even the most coveted high-end brands.

Drew was all aglow as she intuitively applied one of her new nude lipstick shades to both her lips and cheeks, and confessed that she wouldn’t know what to do if it wasn’t for her Skincognito Stick Foundation, as she ever-so efficiently swiped two yellow-based lines under her eyes, blended and looked blissfully bright-eyed and ready to go.

Although Drew admits that most days she goes for a natural-looking face (she likes Lip Service Lip Butter in Mauve Mimosa for day), she wants women everywhere (including her daughter, Olive, who has an Eyeshadow Chubby named after her, Olive My Love. Coolest mom ever!) to know that insecurity is not an option! And to see makeup as a way of enhancing one’s unique beauty to the world.
As Drew talked and asked us our favorite flowers, I swatched and swiped everything from the New Glisten Up! Highlighter Chubby, Perfect Canvas Créme Foundation and Kiss Me Twice Lip & Cheek Chubby. Just look at the swatches!

Drew went on to talk about her favorite trend of the moment: nude lips! She adds new shades to her Lip Suede Velvet Lip Chubbys, Velvet Lip Colors and High-Shine Lip Colors for stay-put pigments. The formulas of these lip products are superb, and the nude shades won’t wash you out!

Drew prides herself and the company in finding the perfect moisture blend to make these lipsticks truly hydrating. Drew blames genetics for her perennially dry lips, but she doesn’t even have to apply lip balm first before one of her fave lip products!
