No7 Tinted Moisturizer SPF 15 claims to “diffuse light for enhanced radiance and a naturally flawless complexion.” This moisturizer promises advanced protection from daily environmental stresses along with “sheer skin perfecting color.” It promises to “give an instant moisture boost and all day lasting hydration with a lightweight feel, for maximum skin comfort.”
In addition, No7’s
patented antioxidant complex is said to boost skin’s natural defenses against environmental stresses such as pollution. City Light is combined with SPF 15 to help
defend against the aging effects of the sun and
protect skin from future visible skin damage. It’s available in a wide range of shades that span the Match Made true skin colors, so there is truly a shade for everyone.
I was sent three shades—
Fair, Medium and Medium Dark—and I used the first two for several days. I’m happy to report that I just
love this product—it delivered sheer, natural looking color and offered just the right amount of coverage, smoothing and minimizing any imperfections. Although it’s lightweight formula goes on like a dream, it also goes the distance—
I wore it while at the gym and it stayed in place! I also loved the handy tube, which is perfect for popping in your bag, and the price, which simply cannot be beat. My only quibble is with the SPF 15 as I prefer a higher SPF of 30. But this is still a great product and I plan to use it in the winter, when the sun is less strong and so the SPF 15 will be sufficient.
No7 Fresh Radiance Essence, $24.99
The No7 Youthful Vitamin C Fresh Radiance Essence is a 2-week radiance treatment. It claims to work by providing skin with 5% pure Vitamin C, an anti-oxidant to support skin’s natural renewal. Since the Vitamin C comes separately, the product is freshly mixed at home, prior to use. This is said to “ensure the Vitamin C remains at its most powerful to provide maximum skincare benefits.”
The product claims to
brighten and even out skin tone and improve texture.
I mixed in the Vitamin C as directed, and used the product for two weeks, morning and evening. I like the fresh scent—think meadow dotted with wildflowers—and though it was a little tacky when applied, it
absorbed quickly and did leave my skin soft, supple and refreshed. It’s not clear whether continued use is recommended or if it is a one-shot deal but if you are a serum lover, this is an excellent product, delivering visible results, and it’s available at an excellent price.
