Anna‘s husband was a special effects color technician and one day introduced the two friends to non-traditional color pigments. This began the Glitter Gals’ quest to create a unique enamel range that was different than what was already on the market.

“We got a phenomenal response from our blogging community. We knew immediately that we were onto something unique.” says Anna optimistically. They took their retirement savings to create their own lab and to buy manufacturing equipment. “We’ve made a lot of sacrifices, and it’s been a long ride, but we’ve never once looked back.”
Duo Chrome in Buckled Bronze
The Shade Shifter formula creates a metallic shade that shifts with intense primary color when viewed at a different angle. Glitter Gal‘s Shade Shifters are similar to the colors you’d see on the wings of an exotic beetle. There are two intense finishes formulated to be worn alone without any top coat needed. One finish has high shine with large particles making the colors dazzle, while the other finish is more soft and has an elegant finish which exudes luxury.
The Duo Chrome formula is a multi-dimensional special effect polish which shows a metallic chrome-like finish that changes color from every angle. Designed to be either worn alone or for a more dynamic stronger look, you can layer over other polishes for full-on metallic appeal.
The Transition formula is an innovative range of nail varnish coatings that turn your favorite nail polish colors into a new, vibrant color effect with an almost ethereal quality. Varying levels of the appearance can be gained by using successive coats. You can wear these alone for more of a pearlescent look, or, for a more dramatic look, you can wear these over a darker shade of polish.
Lastly are the 3D Holographic formulas which offer a true high intensity of a multi-chromatic 3D Holographic effect, which captures light and reflects a broad spectrum of colors. These colors before me are vivid colors that are hard to explain due to the fact that they have so many colors in them when viewed at different angles.
