On January 29, 2014, The Fragrance Foundation presents their inaugural series of the Foundation Talks with speakers who are among the most admired and convention-breaking leaders in the world today.
The impressive line-up of speakers include: Caryl Stern, President and CEO of the U.S. Fund for UNICEF and Award-winning Creative Director, Stefan Sagmeister.
Sir Ken Robinson, PhD is an internationally recognized leader in the development of creativity, innovation and human resources in education and in business. He works with governments in Europe, Asia and the USA, with international agencies, Fortune 500 companies and some of the world’s leading cultural organizations.
In 1998, he led a national commission on creativity, education and the economy for the UK Government. All Our Futures: Creativity, Culture and Education (The Robinson Report) were published to wide acclaim in 1999. In 2005, he was named as one of TIME/FORTUNE/CNN’s Principal Voices.
In 2003, he received a knighthood from Queen Elizabeth II for his services to the arts. His book, The Element: How Finding Your Passion Changes Everything (Penguin/Viking 2009) is a New York Times best seller. His latest book, Finding Your Element: How to Discover Your Talents and Passions and Transform Your Life, was published by Viking in 2013.
Caryl Stern, President and CEO of the U.S. Fund for UNICEF. Previously, Caryl served as
Chief Operating Officer and Senior Associate National Director of the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) after a 10-year career in higher education, most recently as Dean of Students at Polytechnic University in New York. She is the author of I Believe in Zero: Learning From The World’s Children (published October 1, 2013), and co-author of Hate Hurts: How Children Learn and Unlearn Prejudice (Scholastic, 2000) and Future Perfect: A Model for Professional Development (NACA, 1987).
Stefan Sagmeister, Creative Director and Co-Founder of Sagmeister & Walsh have designed for clients as diverse as the Rolling Stones, HBO and the Guggenheim Museum. He has garnered many international awards for his innovative work including two Grammys for Talking Heads, Brian Eno and David Byrne package designs. Solo shows on Sagmeister’s work have been presented in Paris, Zurich, Vienna, Prague, Cologne, Berlin, New York, Miami, Los Angeles, Chicago, Toronto, Tokyo, Osaka, Seoul and Miami. In 2008, he authored Things I have Learned in my Life so Far published by Abrams and currently working on a self-experimental documentary, Happy Film.
