If there’s one gripe I hear constantly from beauty junkies, it’s that their lipstick makes their pucker way too dry. I’m not even talking mildly dry …I’m talking cracked and siphoned off all the “juice.”

The set of 7 lipsticks arrived at my door last week, encased like Cartier jewels in a shiny leather keepsake box with a magnetic closure. The shades range from smoky browns, lilac/mauves to pinks and roses. The challenge is to use one lipstick each day, for seven days, and report back.
I’ve got to say, I love this kind of challenge. It’s fun and scientific, at the same time. It’s a beauty focus group of sorts, and I feel like a girly girl to be part of it, and also a little geeky to see if that experiment really works. The best possible outcome is, of course, that the LipPerfection really transforms your pucker. I’m on the road quite a bit over the next two weeks, and it’s nice to see if the lipsticks really hold their end of the bargain.

The worst possible outcome is that the lipsticks do nothing…but I’m erring on the side of victory here.
