Earth’s Kiss Super Naturals has released some new face masks that we were really excited to test out. Inspired by the emerging “self-care is health care” revolution that prioritizes regeneration, rejuvenation, and self-healing from within, the Earth Kiss range of vegan facial masks claim to usher in a new dawn in certified organic skincare. Aiming to provide a profoundly relaxing Home Beauty and Wellness Retreat experience that is as nurturing and regenerating to the body, mind, and soul as it is nourishing and rejuvenating to the skin. All of the masks are certified organic, naturally developed, 100% vegan, and cruelty free!
This mask also contains aloe vera, natural clay, dead sea salt, and willow bark. The mask is applied wet and dries on the skin, which takes about 20 minutes. Once dry, it can be rinsed off in the shower or with a warm wash cloth. The grainy texture does a good job of exfoliating, and my skin looked quite pink when I completed the process. I was a bit worried that it would be drying but it wasn’t at all. The next day, my skin positively glowed. This was my favorite mask out of the bunch and I’m making it a part of my regular routine – maybe twice a month.
Kombucha & Spirulina Hydrating Sheet Mask | $3.65
This mask is said to minimize the appearance of pores, tone the complexion and hydrate thirsty skin. Per the instructions, I opened the mask and placed it over my face. I left it on for about 15 minutes. I was immediately struck by the lovely, fresh fragrance, and the mask felt cooling and refreshing to my skin. After I removed it and rinsed my face, I found my skin to be very smooth and soft. A fine and well-priced weekly pick-me-up.
7th Heaven Charcoal Peel-Off Face Mask, Cleansing & Detoxifying | Various Prices
This mask is made with activated charcoal to draw out impurities with a combination of witch hazel and birch leaf to calm and sooth. It promises squeaky clean skin. It goes on black and glossy. It takes about 15 minutes to dry. Once dry, you peel it off. Peel-off masks are said to be more gentle and effective than scrubs while leaving skin purified and smooth, but I didn’t like the sensation of peeling the mask off. I felt like I was taking my skin off too. However, others, who especially have oily or greasy skin, may like the feeling. This product is also all natural and cruelty free.
