I’ve been using AHAVA products for several months to help moisturize and soothe my dry skin. I keep AHAVA Mineral Hand Cream sitting on my desk because when I’m typing on my computer is when I notice that my hands are dry. Well, I’m switching out my hand cream (which I love) with the Cactus & Pink Pepper Mineral Hand Cream (which I love even more) because I am so enamored with the scent. It’s hard for me to describe, but if PINK had a scent than this would be it! It has a light and pleasant natural fragrance. The AHAVA Hand Cream Trio is my top pick out of the Cactus & Pink Pepper collection because it’s a great value (about 40% less than buying each hand cream individually) and it allows you to sample all three hand creams to find your favorite one. It also makes a lovely gift for anyone who could use some pampering. AHAVA products are designed to give you the best benefits from the minerals, plants and mud of the Dead Sea region.
Included in the AHAVA Hand Cream Trio is the Dermud Intensive Hand Cream for dry and sensitive skin relief. I was interested in trying this leave-on Dead Sea mud on my hands because I have sensitive skin and experience mild eczema. This hand cream is a putty color with a fresh scent. It probably won’t remind you of “mud” like from a facial because it’s more like a thick hand cream. It instantly absorbs into your skin leaving hands softer, like an invisible glove. I also really enjoyed how it moisturized my fingernails and made my polish-less nails look shinier.
The AHAVA Mineral Hand Cream is a product I fell in love with last winter (and stocked up on) because it simply works better than any other hand cream I’ve tried. My skin is thirsty for it and my hands look and feel healthier when I use it.
But now the AHAVA Cactus & Pink Pepper Mineral Hand Cream has taken over as my favorite hand cream because I get the same benefits as AHAVA Mineral Hand Cream along with an uplifting fragrance that I can’t get enough of. And take a look at the enchanting packaging – the dusky rose bottle speckled with twinkling silver stars. This white hand cream contains witch hazel wish sanitizes and smoothes skin. Also in the ingredients is allantoin which can heal dry cracked skin and blemishes. Those with sensitive skin can use this hand cream and it has also been allergy tested and is paraben free.
Don’t let your hands get all the pampering, because the skin on your arms and legs wants pampering too! AHAVA Cactus & Pink Pepper Mineral Body Lotion is a great way to moisture skin all over your body. I especially like using it on my legs which I have a hard time keeping moisturized and which need some TLC because shaving is not always kind to my skin. This body lotion is not as thick as the hand cream, making it easy to apply on larger areas of skin. And again this lotion is white (and not pink) and it’s conveniently dispensed from an ergonomically designed pump (which you can lock for traveling). Again witch hazel is found in the ingredients, but also aloe vera. Ideally use it just after showering or bathing, but of course it can be used anytime your skin needs a boost of moisture and soothing.
Last, but not least, is the AHAVA Cactus & Pink Pepper Dry Oil Body Mist which is a favorite because it’s so light and easy to apply anywhere. I consider it my “fragrance” in the morning and I enjoy the happy scent all day long. But it’s not designed just to smell good, it’s also designed to pamper your skin with Jojoba Oil, Vitamin E and Dunaliella Algae (an anti-oxidant). It comes in a glass spray bottle that does an excellent job of dispensing the mist exactly where you want it. I’m especially enjoying it this summer when it just feels too hot and humid to use body lotion. A dry oil body mist is such a refreshing alternative for moisturizing skin without leaving you feeling greasy.
