Miami Swim Week kicked off last week and the looks were hot, hot, hot! From cool swim trunks for men to teeny weeny bikinis for the ladies, there were an array of looks to keep you looking perfect by the poolside. And, of course, we can’t forget the hair and makeup. We’ll show you how to stay looking beach ready!
The beauty look for Mara Hoffman was defined by a dark, sultry eye and bronzed skin with a luminous finish. Inspired by mysterious Moroccan beauty, the look mirrors the exotic attributes of this season’s collection.

Pro Tip: To give your cheeks dimension and structure, play with multiple contour shades focusing the darkest shade in the hollows of the cheek. To add a sun kissed glow, apply liquid luminizer in a C shape around the eye and tops of the cheekbones.

Pro Tip: For a sultry look, use a smudge brush to smoke out the kohl liner around the eye and inner rim. Finish with generous coats of mascara.

Pro Tip: Pat foundation on the lips with a lip brush to tone down any redness when creating a nude lip. Layer two tones of beige and light brown lipsticks to create a tridimensional lip. Blot with powder for a long-lasting, matte finish.
Elegant Bollywood-inspired suits in white and vibrant citrus hues graced the runway for the Filthy Haanz show.
The brand’s creative director Wilber Tellez was inspired by his travels to Far East and drew inspiration from the vibrant city of Mumbai, India. “The raw sights, sounds, and textures off the streets led me to believe this city, its people and culture, were the epitome of our brand lifestyle–the sophistication and glamour of Bollywood with the untamed yet beautiful undertone of the everyday people.”
Models wore fresh orchids in their beach waved hair that accented their perfectly tanned bodies.
Mia Marcelle Swimwear, opened the show at SWIMMIAMI with a collection of suits in sexy silhouettes. Adding a twist on traditional one-pieces, plunging necklines and cut out sides featuring intricately braided straps complemented the barely-there bikinis.
The audience was captivated by the bold, golden beauty accents and beehive bouffants as the models walked the runway.
The MIKOH Collection incorporated earth tones and intricate details for a trendy, youthful style. The dynamic sister duo brings a feminine, yet strong feel to the surf and sun lifestyle. TRESemmé Stylist Tyler Laswell created a hair look of soft waves with sexy volume to compliment the collection.
To Get The Look:
- Begin by taking small sections of hair and lightly misting with water until damp. Layer TRESemmé Perfectly (un)Done Wave Creation Sea Foam and TRESemmé Youth Boost Youthful Fullness Emulsion Spray to each section until hair is fully covered.
- Dry hair using a blow dryer and a wide-tooth comb. Pro tip: Be sure to lift hair at the root using the comb for added volume.
- With a 1-inch curling iron, take sectioned hair and begin curling using a reverse-curling technique. This requires the lengths of the hair closest to the scalp to be wrapped 2-3 times around the iron away from the face, and then released. Next, take the remaining lengths of the hair and wrap 2-3 times in the opposite direction. Repeat until all hair has been curled.
- Complete the look with a mist of TRESemmé Perfectly (un)Done Ultra Brushable Hairspray for a light hold that lasts.
