At a huge fashion event like the Met Ball (The Costume Institute Gala), the hair often takes a back seat to the dress. The truth is: without the hair, the best dress could turn into the worst dressed. The next step is creating the curl. Take a large barrel brush and blow-dry your hair until it is completely dry. At this point, separate the hair into two-inch sections and wrap each around a medium to large size hot roller. Let it sit for about ten minutes and then release. Brush out those curls and move all of your hair to the opposite side of the part. Use any type of light gel to help hair stay toward that side. The last step is to finish off the look with some hairspray for hold and any type of shine mist to create that glossy finish.
