The Fall/Winter runways saw a slew of fun hair styles, perfect for the colder weather now upon us. The talented team at Cutler salons, led by owner and Redken ambassador Rodney Cutler, are behind some of this seasons top looks. See below for the hottest trends about to take over Fall hair.
Trend: Hair Accessories
Go for gold with the sophisticated gold buckle as seen at Zimmerman. This look was created by blowing out the hair pin straight, then gathering the top half into a pony tail and securing with an elastic. A small section from underneath the pony was wrapped around the elastic and the gold buckle was added on top.
For a more romantic feel, the gorgeous red flowers seen at Alice + Olivia are just right. Paired with an easy rope braided bun, this look is sultry yet fresh.
Trend: Sleek with a Side Part
This look evokes old Hollywood glamour, which was celebrated at Tadashi Shoji. The soft, pillowy texture was created by blowing the hair out and curling with a large, 1 1/4 inch iron. Using a finishing spray to keep hair sleek is key.
For a low maintenance take on the trend, try out the low ponytail Ready for Fish by Ilja featured on the runway. Start with a deep side part and gather hair loosely at the nape of the neck, taming fly aways lightly.
Trend: Waves
Loose, natural waves were the name of the game at FRAME Denim, offering an almost “scarf bend” take on the trend. The look was created with freshly blown out hair and a 2 inch curling iron, only adding more wave and avoiding roots.
Rachel Antonoff showed a messier, texturized wave inspired by private school girls. The ‘do was created with alternating 1/4 inch and 3/4 inch irons for a roughed up, lived in, too-cool-to-care vibe.
