The Cosmetic Executive Women Foundation (CEWF) honored L’Oréal USA for its longtime support of the Cancer and Careers program at the annual Beauty of Giving Luncheon on December 13, 2013 at the Waldorf Astoria.
The event celebrated the philanthropy of the beauty industry and the achievements of its signature charity, Cancer and Careers, which empowers and educates working people with cancer.
L’Oréal USA has played a vital role in Cancer and Careers’ growth since its launch 12-years ago, raising both funds and awareness for the program.
“The CEW Foundation is privileged to have industry leaders like L’Oréal USA provide such strong support for Cancer and Careers,” says Kate Sweeney, Executive Director of CEW Foundation.
“L’Oréal is a shining example of good corporate citizenry. And they’ve been critical to our success.”
The Luncheon closed with the Live Auction, where one-of-a-kind experiences were auctioned
off, with the proceeds benefiting Cancer and Careers. This year’s live auction prizes included:
