There are lip glosses that come in clear, shiny plastic tubes and promise you the moon, and there are some that actually go above and beyond, like a lover/ sugar daddy rolled into one.
I attended a preview of Intelligent Nutrients’ new USDA Certified Organic Lip Delivery Antioxidant Gloss the other day and fell in love with the idea behind the skinnovation. Using Plant Stem Cell Science and featuring ingredients from a proprietary biotech process, this company has replicated the reproduction of antioxidant rich plant stem cells in their lab, without the use of soil.

The plant cells derived from stem cells from Edelweiss, Coneflower and Pennywort are blended for potency. These powerful agents work hard to fend off visible signs of aging inculding the reduction of fine lines and wrinkles, age spots, skin tone and redness.

The company debuts the Plant Stem Cell Renewal Complex which comes in an amber glass apothecary bottle. This bottle is supposed to be used within one month of purchase and retails for $130 for an all over treatment, and $55 for a targeted treatment. You’re supposed to apply this all over the wrinkles around your mouth, upper lip, eye area and forehead. You can also use it on your decollete to prevent age spots.
My personal favorite is the Lip Delivery Antioxidant Gloss, which is USDA Certified Organic. This ensures the Four Seasons of standards for your lip gloss, which comes in a slim tube with a luxurious brush tip applicator. This is the first USDA Certified Organic gluten-free lipgloss that combines nutritious food ingredients (some of which are super foods).
The bottom line? The look and feel of this gloss is luxurious, and while it doesn’t have endless hours of staying power (it’s a gloss, after all), this tube made our lips look and feel silky. The gloss comes in the shades Sheer Cranberry, Soft Blueberry, Purple Maize—and a clear gloss, Clear Frosting. $24.
