Yes, indeed, the colors from the Giorgio Armani Kaleidoscope Fall 2013 Collection are fantastically multifaceted and pure, sparkling and have high-impact color. As soon as I saw this collection and its beautiful, intense online ads, I was enamored by the bold colors.
It’s wonderful that this collection can be worn in a very colorful fashion, yet can also be worn daily in a much more subdued way.
This collection includes two Face and Eye Palettes ($88.00 each), five shades of Eyes to Kill Intense Eyeshadow ($33.00 each) and six Rouge d’Armani Lipstick ($32.00 each).
Summer isn’t over yet! There’s still time to sport the Giorgio Armani Spring 2013 Eyes To Kill Collection. We reviewed and swatched it —> HERE!
The two Limited Edition Face and Eye Palettes come in a two-tier black case with a magnetic closure. One tier is for the face and the other for the eyes.
The palettes (which were inspired by the colors of the Egyptian scarab) create two different looks — one has blue-violets and the other brown-green tones. Palette No. 1 has a rosy blush/face powder and three eyeshadows in Smoky Purple, Iridescent Blue and Satin Grey Blue.
Palette No. 2 has a light pink blush/face powder and three eyeshadows in Copper Wood, Iridescent Jade and Sea Green (sampled/pictured).

Eyes to Kill Intense Eyeshadows are five pearlescent shades, each with a kaleidoscopic effect that changes according to the light. Their silky texture fuses with the eyelid, creating a voluptuous, iridescent effect.

The Kaleidoscopic Pearls developed by the Giorgio Armani laboratories create an illusion of ever-changing eyeshadow color, depending on the direction the light hits.
Each movement creates a new color: from gold to red, violet to pink, blue to green, aqua-blue to violet…. the five new pearly shades with holographic effects span the entire color spectrum.
On to lips, Rouge d’Armani Lipstick comes in wild berry and sun-kissed hues that give one a dazzling smile. These colors premiered on the Armani runways and have become a key trend for Fall 2013.

Linda Cantello: Application and Advice
Bitten lip effect: To heighten the color of your lips and create this slightly sheer, bitten effect, simply dab the Rouge d’Armani Lipstick bullet against your lips to leave a stain of color; layer it in light strokes. The result: a sensual, natural and glamorous mouth.
“Feminine/masculine duality. Multifaceted cool tones on eyes, contrasted with wild berry lips. Subtle femininity softens the garçonne look for autumn.”
