Last month, ELLE Cosmetics held a cosmetic launch in the Style Suite at the Shoreham Hotel. Truly a makeup lover’s dream event, I could not wait to be in attendance! The new ELLE Cosmetics collection, which is sold only at KOHL’S department stores and Kohls.com, introduces ELLE Cosmetics‘ highly anticipated fall Face Primer ($30.00).
This primer promises to help you “put your best face forward” with a lightweight, oil-free and silky formula, which instantly preps skin for a flawless makeup application. ELLE Cosmetics Face Primer brightens complexions for an overall look that leaves your skin looking luminous!
Coupled with skin treatments and “optical effects” — light-reflecting particles and soft vision powders — this amazing product instantly helps smooth and even out your skin tone and redness, creating the perfect base for your makeup application. Loaded with beneficial ingredients that help your skin look better instantly, this ELLE Cosmetics Face Primer helps improve skin clarity and tone overtime!

Four models were also on hand to show us a few of the fall trends, modeling a few items from the fall ELLE fashion collection. Once inside the Style Suite, guests were able to choose cute tokens (makeup and Barney notebooks) to take home. Makeup is definitely my fave beauty accessory and I could not wait to peek inside of my goodie bag!
ELLE Cosmetics provided an info. swatch, which included makeup face charts and showed how to achieve certain looks. I personally decided to play with the “Jewel Tones” look (jewel adorned eyes paired with soft nude lips.) For this look, I primed my face with ELLE Face Primer. Then, I lightly dusted my face with ELLE Blush in shade 02. For my eyes, I used ELLE Eyeshadow in colors 03 (on the inner lid and brow bone), 17 (middle of lids) and 20 (blended on the upper/outer lids.) Finished with ELLE Eyeliner #1 and ELLE Lengthening Mascara 01. For my nude lips, I used ELLE Lipcolor in 03, with ELLE Lipgloss 03.
