Last night I was invited to attend an event for Lancôme, where they announced the launch of the new Miracle Cushion foundation, a liquid formula in a beautiful compact – yes you heard that right! No more spills in your makeup bag carrying around foundations, now Lancôme has got you covered! The first thing you’ll notice is the sponge-like appearance in the compact. The texture is indeed like a sponge, just press down and voilà, you’ve got liquid foundation right at your fingertips.
Before the event, we were asked, “Where is the craziest place you’ve applied makeup?” Recently, I took my boys to an amusement park and tried to quickly re-touch my makeup on the spinning tea cup ride – needless to say it did not work out well. When I entered the Lancôme event, I was presented with a tasty cocktail along with a custom made coaster and napkin with my name (and tea cup experience) on it! How cute is that?
During the evening, everyone was color-matched to find their shade of the new Miracle Cushion foundation and I, like everyone else, walked away happy, excited and truly amazed at how great the product is. Beauty expert, Mickey Williams, was so sweet and found my exact shade on the first try. I was blown away at how light the foundation felt on my skin, not too mention that it matched me perfectly!

There are eleven different shades of Miracle Cushion, which I love. And we were told that actress Lupita Nyong’o is a huge fan of the product.
I had the pleasure of meeting and chatting with the President of Lancôme, Xavier Vey. As a longtime customer of Lancôme, it was such an honor and pleasure to meet him. He even asked me to come on stage to show everyone how well the product matched my skin tone!

Tweets were projected on the wall using the hashtag #miracleonthemove, and my tweet on behalf of BeautyStat made the wall as well!
And just when I though it couldn’t get any better, there was a photo booth to create your own GIFs that were also projected up on a screen.
