I love trying out Hard Candy products because they are often perfect dupes that are friendlier to your wallet, yet provide the same great results as high end makeup brands. Here are some of the new items you can find as part of Hard Candy’s holiday collection!
I was excited to see the Hard Candy Season of Sparkle Eye Shadow & Liner Collection, $9.88. This ten-piece set includes a baked eye shadow palette with twelve shades, eight glitter eyeshadow pencils and a sponge tip applicator.
These can be used wet or dry since they are baked shadows. You can also use the darker shades as eyeliner when used wet as the colors will intensify and create a bolder effect. Add some sparkle with the glitter liners and you’re good to go!
The eyeshadows are not super pigmented and will create a more natural look. This set is perfect for someone who is looking for a more subdued look or just wants a subtle wash of color. The look that I created with this palette was very natural and perfect for work or school.
The eyeliners are not very creamy but not stiff either. The glitter does transfer well. These are small, travel sized liners so they would be perfect to stick in a makeup bag for on-the-go touch ups.

Hard Candy has also come out with the Stroke of Gorgeous Oopsy-Proof Eyeliner Eraser, $5.00. This eyeliner eraser pen is ideal to correct eyeliner makeup smudges, smears and mistakes during application. The ultra-precision tip is easy to use, gentle on skin, and can correct even the tiniest of errors!
I love that the tip of the wand comes to such a fine point. It really makes it easy to get into small areas to make sure the liner is crisp and smooth. The wand is not too saturated or too dry. It takes a few swipes to get the eyeliner a little bit clean on the edges, but I like that because you aren’t going to worry about taking too much off since the applicator isn’t dripping with product. I must admit, the packaging is cute too!
This eyeliner eraser can be used in a pinch to fix a mistake quickly. It is not irritating to the eyes. Of course, you can’t beat the price either!
