We all have a dark side to us, right?! I know I do. And after seeing both The Glinda And Theodora Urban Decay Palettes ($49.00 each), which were inspired by Disney‘s film Oz The Great and Powerful, I am on the fence. I like them BOTH!
I can relate to the soft, sweet side of me (I got the Peaches and Cream Award in college) and also feel the vamp, vixen edge to the more sultry palette of Theodora (hence, my love of the band The Dirty Pearls and having an overall penchant for rock and roll).
The Glinda Palette includes:
Tornado, Aura, Magic, Illusion, Oz and South along with a full step-by-step instruction sheet on how to get the look, as well as a Super Saturated Lip Gloss Color in Glinda and a travel-size 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in a deep eggplant hue.
The Theodora Palette includes:
Broken, Beware, Bewitch, West, Spell and Jealous plus a Super Saturated High Gloss Lip Color in Theodora (bright red cream) and a travel-size 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in black.
Both palettes have six pans and eight all-new and exclusive eyeshadows. There are duo-shades where the palette is split in half with a different color on each side. Each new shade has the proprietary formula that has made Urban Decay so well-loved: the Pigment Infusion System(tm) that allows for the velvety texture, staying power, bendability and rich color.
They are both available at Sephora, ULTA and select Macy’s stores as well as online at Sephora.com, ulta.com, macys.com, beauty.com and urbandecay.com.
Disney’s fantastic adventure Oz The Great and Powerful, directed by Sam Raimi, imagines the origins of L. Frank Baum’s beloved wizard character. When Oscar Diggs (James Franco), a small time circus magician with doubtful ethics, is hurled away from Kansas to the vibrant Land of Oz, he thinks he’s hit the jackpot — fame and fortune are his for the taking — that is until he meets three witches: Theodora (Mila Kunis), Evandora (Rachel Weisz) and Glinda (Michelle Williams) who are not convinced he is the great wizard everyone had been expecting. Oscar must find out who is good and who is evil before it is too late. Through his magical arts of illusion, Oscar transforms himself into not only a great and powerful wizard, but a better man as well. This film opens in U.S. theaters on March 8th, 2013.
