Sephora invited BeautyStat backstage during New York Bridal Fashion Week for the Spring/Summer 2014 Dennis Basso for Kleinfeld show.
Spring brides, rejoice! You all get a sneak-peek at this trendy makeup look for the big day. We spoke with famed makeup artist Kabuki on the bridal look created with a few top brands found at Sephora.

For this look, Kabuki created a face that emphasized a perky pout with matte red lips and a sexy eye. I asked the famed makeup artist some questions to help us get this look at home.
BeautyStat: How did you create the eye look today?
Kabuki: We added lashes towards the outer corners only, and lined the eyes with Kat Von D Tattoo Liner. It has a velvety consistency.

BeautyStat: Can the girl at home create this eye look? It can be difficult to put on false lashes sometimes.
Kabuki: Sure! It is actually easier to use lashes this way than using the whole lash line. Just glue them to the outer lashes to fan them out. We applied mascara, which helps blend it all together seamlessly.
BeautyStat: And the lip shade today by NARS, does this shade work for all skintones?
Kabuki: We mixed it with an orange-red, which makes it more vibrant and works for all of the girls. It’s slightly different than the colors seen at the show. At the show lips were orange. This lip shade was gorgeous on every skintone from fair to dark.
