Nail trends come and go but it looks like the “negative space” style is here to stay and we couldn’t be happier. Use bright shades for a bold geometric look or subtle pastel hues for an everyday take on the trend. With help from nail brand Ciaté, we show you in a few easy steps how to wear it!
1. Apply a base coat to nails like Ciaté Underwear Base Coat, $17, to create a glossy clear finish for the ‘space’ and allow it to dry fully.
2. Place a circular nail sticker onto the bottom half of your nail, leaving your cuticle moon exposed. After creating the half-circle shape, apply Ciaté Paint Pot shade in Hoopla.
3. Take two small pieces of tape and lay them over the top of your nail so they create a triangle. Paint this in with Ciaté Paint Pot in Pepperminty, $15. Let the polish dry and peel off all tape and stickers with tweezers. Apply a topcoat for longevity.
