The Nars Cosmetics Fall 2010 shade palette is all about smooth, flawless skin with pops of unexpected color. Sexy, sophisticated and daring, Francois Nars takes his inspiration from British style icon and collector of Haute Couture, Daphne Guinnes. These unexpected shades arrest and inspire the eye, with names taken from mysterious far-off lands and domestic hot spots. Daphne, a deep shock of matte purple eyeshadow and frankly the star of the collection, is named after his inspiration and beauty muse. Try Mangrove contoured with Coconut Grove Eye Shadow finished with a stain of Rouge Basque on lips or Tzarine Eye Shadow duo with Strawberry Fields Lip Gloss. The collection’s cheek blush, Douceur, is sweet, gentle and delicate: a must have.
