NARS has been pretty busy so early on in the game this NY Fashion Week. Not only did NARS kick-off one of the first shows for Tanya Taylor’s Spring ’13 Collection, but was able to showcase its own Creatures of the Wind (COTW) show lead by James Boehmer, as well as the unique minimal look they created for the Alexander Wang.
For today’s Thakoon show, NARS created a look that was all about the brows.

DESIGNER INSPIRATION: “Everything is light and transparent for the purpose of combining structure and transparency,” said designer Thakoon Panichgul.
LOOK: “There were ‘20s-era vintage images on Thakoon’s mood board,” said Kendal. “While there was something very fragile about them, the eyes were deep and cheeks were blushed. We made the look modern, and more off-beat, with shades of brown to create depth in the eyes. The blush is lower on the face rather than on the cheekbone, like a painting.”
