Three-dimensional skin repair? Do explain, L’Oréal Paris!
I had been anticipating this collection — heard some buzz about how effective it is to all layers of the skin — so I was more than elated to see it in person! This is being marketed as an anti-aging skincare collection designed to help fight the visible signs of aging by addressing three dimensions: wrinkles, loss of facial volume and loss of firmness. This is what they mean by three-dimensional skin repair.
L’Oréal didn’t want this line to only combat wrinkles but truly help one’s skin by penetrating the deep layers to deliver intensive results. All three products, which are the day/night cream, serum and eye treatment, work to deliver triple-action results to help the skin look younger, smoother and more radiant.
There is a proprietary ingredient called Pro-Xylane that is a 100% naturally derived, biodegradable molecule that is extracted from the beech wood plant, a renewable resource. This molecule was designed to penetrate deep into the skin’s surface and was shown to enhance collagen production in in vitro studies. The new Revitalift Triple Power collection has the highest level of Pro-Xylane within the L’Oréal Paris skincare franchise.
In addition, there is also fragmented hyaluronic acid that has been proven to fight wrinkles and act as a line plumper/filler. The eye treatment itself has a soothing roller ball applicator and contains vitamin E to condition and moisturize that sensitive area around your eyes. All formulas are dermatologist tested and suitable for sensitive skin.
Revitalift Triple Power Day/Night Cream ($24.99), Triple Concentrated Power Serum ($24.99) and Triple Power Eye Treatment ($24.99) will be available at mass, food and drug retailer nationwide beginning in July 2012.
