Dior has created a new palette for their 2012 Croisette Summer Color Collection. To get this look the 5-Couleur Eyeshadow palette ($60.00) in Aurora for eyes includes 5 satin, shimmery and long-lasting eye shades in one compact. These warm colored shades give the look of a glistening, beachy sunset. Check out our model’s before shot. To achieve the after look first, apply the warm champagne color (lightest shade) all over the eyelid. Then to create more depth and dimension to the eye, lightly brush the brown (darkest shade) starting right beneath the eyebrow, above the inner corner of the eye in an an upwards motion; in a rounded shape to create a small contour above the eyelid — not anything too harsh, or you won’t keep the subtle, natural look.
Then, use the yellow-golden shade to follow this contour you have created to the middle of the eyelid. After, apply the orange-bronze shade all the way to the outer corner of the eye, extending it past your eye for a little more drama. Blending is key here: with a clean, soft eyeshadow brush lightly blend the colors to enrich the combination for a softer look. To finish off the eyes, dab a tiny bit of the light pink shade in only the inner most corner of the eye to brighten things up. This will easily intensify the eye color of any skin tone.
The lips are the final step in creating this look: Apply the Dior Addict Ultra Gloss ($28.00) in Orange Pareo (#542) — a light, warm, shimmery peachy-orange color to enhance your summer look.
