The Naeem Khan Fall/Winter 2017 show was inspired by young teens in Los Angeles, so Gato for Maybelline New York creates a fresh, natural look for the makeup. “To get that pure, L.A. teenager look I want pristine skin and an absolutely real flush that comes from inside,” Gato said.
Public School’s Fall/Winter 2017 show drew a lot of influence from the current political climate, and Grace Lee for Maybelline New York created a young and fresh makeup look to complement that vibe. She chose a berry stained lip as the focus of the look, noting that it really is a lip that looks as if “a girl had on a deep red, but has been out all day and hasn’t touched it up.”
