I get really excited about facials (and really needed one!), but when I heard about receiving a mini-facial at the SpaFinder’s Last Minute Deals launch event using Clarins products, I just had to be there!
SpaFinder Wellness has created a exciting and innovative way for you to get great last minute deals on discounted spa, hair and fitness sessions ranging from work-out classes, massages, facials, blow-outs and more. These Last Minute Deals are available in three cities: Chicago, New York and Miami.
Now, on to the facial! I was greeted by one of Clarins Skin Spa specialists (Hi, McKenzie!) who introduced me to a slew of the brand’s amazing products. She began the mini-facial by cleansing my face with the Clarins One-Step Facial Cleanser ($33.00). Containing orange extract, it smelled refreshing and removed all traces of makeup, along with any impurities to revive my skin.
Clarins Skin Spa is all about working the product into the skin rather than using abrasive techniques or products. She then gently patted Clarins Extra-Firming Day Wrinkle Lifting Cream ($82.00) suited for all skin types. It felt so moisturizing as she warmed the cream between her hands, pressing it into my skin (rather than smearing it) all over my forehead, cheeks and chin. Powerful plant extracts of green banana, lemon thyme, bocoa and oat sugars rebuild the bonds between collagen, elastin and cells to strengthen the skin’s foundation.
Once that seeped into my skin, next step was for the eyes! This had to be my favorite product: Clarins Total Eye Concentrate ($82.00) reduces the appearance of dark circles, crow’s feet and diminishes the look of puffiness. The formula is enriched with the Pueraria Lobata, the “forever young” plant, to target any signs of aging.
It felt really comforting on the skin, and I didn’t feel any irritation whatsoever. It helped to make my concealer (Clarins Instant Light Brush-On Perfector, $34.00) go on much smoother, too.
Before applying a light layer of foundation, we had to prime the skin. Clarins Beauty Flash Balm ($45.00) is a great pick-me-up for the skin. It smells AMAZING, hydrates and tightens facial contours — and won’t clog your pores. Olive and witch hazel soothes the skin, and bisabolol adds some skin-glowing radiance. She also dabbed it (no rubbing here) into the skin gently — this is supposed to enhance and give you a dewy look to your skin, while allowing your foundation to adhere better.
And finally, to complete my entire Clarins skincare and cosmetic experience, Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector ($22.00) was applied on my lips. I already had some red lipstick on, so to add some shine and moisture, 05 Candy Shimmer was added. I love how it is a gel-like lipgloss. It almost felt like a balm, making it super-moisturizing as well.
I had a great Clarins experience and can’t wait to try some of their other products! To get great deals on Clarins Skin Spa facials, go to SpaFinder.com/LastMinute to book your last minute deals right now! A great deal could be waiting for you.
