As someone who suffers from adult acne, I have tried many products on the market and even different combinations of products to help clear my skin. I wanted something that would help my acne without leaving my face dry and flaky. After using Dr. Lin’s Daily Cleanser and Acne Cleansing Pads, I found that my skin is now starting to recover. Both of the products contain Salicylic Acid which is clinically proven to reduce the inflammation from blemishes. It leaves my skin smooth throughout the day and doesn’t make my skin flake under foundation or BB cream.

I use the Daily Cleanser twice a day, once in the morning and again in the evening. It is a gentle foaming cleanser that does not burn or further irritate the surface of my skin. I would not recommend using it to remove makeup, however, because it is very gentle and will not completely remove all the makeup.
After the cleanser and before using a gentle moisturizer, I use the Acne Cleansing Pads, $7.99, in replacement of a toner. To use the Acne Cleansing Pads, I gently wipe the affected area of my skin, being careful not to rub my skin too hard and cause further irritation. The cleansing pads can leave a burning or stinging sensation if there are open acne sores on the skin.
So far, the frequency of my breakouts has reduced and I no longer have large painful acne blemishes. I have also seen some improvement in the hyperpigmentation – but it has not been a 100% change.
I feel that the longer I use these products, I will gradually see more improvements in the discoloration and the texture of my skin. Overall, Dr. Lin’s Skincare will continue to be a part of my skin care regimen.
