I FINALLY got my hands on probably the most coveted facial spray deemed so by the beauty blogger/makeup artist/celebrity scene.
The Caudalie Beauty Elixir ($48.00 for 3.4 oz/$18.00) for 1 oz) has undergone a mini makeover with a new bottle design. Starting November 1st, you’ll be able purchase the NEW bottle look with the same great formula.
Caudalie has partnered with famed American designer L’Wren Scott (also wife of Rolling Stone legend Mick Jagger) to create an intricately detailed bottle.
Inspired by L’Wren Scott’s Fall/Winter 2013 collection that draws elements from Austrian painter Gustav Klimt, the bottle is reminiscent of mosaics and a female silhouette. Prints of black interwoven bunches also reference vine shoots, playing homage to Caudalie’s roots.
If you haven’t already tried the elixir, it is a toner-type facial spray. Its unique combination of essential oils was inspired by Queen Isabella of Hungary, who charmed the King of Poland thirty-five years her junior with her radiant complexion.
The Beauty Elixir is designed as a quick fix for all skin types lacking radiance. Part serum, part toner, it incorporates the following ingredients:
Rosemary Essential Oil to purify
Lemon Balm to calm
Peppermint to stimulate
Orange Blossom to soften
Rose for radiance
Grape Pulp for moisture
It is perfect when used as a base primer, but can be sprayed on your face throughout the day to freshen your complexion or on a cotton pad to be used as a daily toner; it also makes a wonderful after-shave for men.
Have you beauties tried this Beauty Elixir before? What do you think of the new limited-edition design?
