According to Olay, Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Eye Cream & Lash Serum Duo ($24.99) newly launched product is the “first eye cream and lash serum product with a dual applicator designed to provide a 360 degree eye care solution treating lids, lines and lashes for a total transformation.”
The formula contains an advanced amino peptide complex with olive oil; the lash serum containing glycerin. Together, they claim to:
• Regenerate skin’s youthful look
• Reduce fine line and wrinkle appearance around the eyes
• Firm eye area and smooth the look of lids
• Hydrate to nourish lashes from base to tip
I used these products as directed for a week. I liked the cream, which went on easily and absorbed well. It was a good base for my under eye concealer and foundation, and I found it did help to smooth out the look of my upper eyelids.
I did not, however, see any difference in the fine line/wrinkle situation — alas! The lash serum was great though — I loved the feel of it on my lashes, and it made them seem thicker and fuller; it was also a great base for mascara.
Given that the products lived up to most of the claims, I think they are a worthy addition to any beauty arsenal. And as ever, Olay is very price conscious; they provide excellent value for money spent.
