Bulgarian rose water and essential oils compose this therapeutic, refreshing priming water from Korean beauty brand, Touch In Sol. Bulgarian rose water is 100% pure, natural, and undiluted, and obtained by steam distillation from fresh rose blossoms. The water-soluble active ingredients from rose water are said to, “provide anti-inflammatory and soothing benefits on the skin” and can be used as hydrating makeup prep and/or a mid-day refresher. The lightweight oil is to absorb instantly creating a moisture barrier that prevents evaporation. It is multi-use, so it can be applied to the body as well as the face. It can also be mixed with other products to improve their texture.

I was a little puzzled by this product at first as I was not familiar with the concept. But, I tried a few drops on my face before applying makeup. It had a very delicate and subtle rose fragrance which I liked. I also found it to be lightweight. It absorbed very quickly. It definitely made application easier and smoother. And, since it’s conveniently packaged in a small tube, it can be popped in your bag for beauty-to-go. I would not rate this as an essential, but it could be useful, especially for travel.
