This conversation bridging science and beauty, and focusing on the future and progress, is embodied in the new Capture Totale Serum – the latest arrival in pioneering the Dior Skincare line.
This exceptional conference has also allowed to present two stunning women who are committed to protecting our planet: Gisele Bundchen, who is now the face of Capture Totale, and actress Li Bing Bing, the Chinese star.
The conference began with talks by several international scientists who have come to share their respective viewpoints from scientific disciplines, each of which opens fields of possibilities in the domains of both health and beauty.
To start with, Dr. Knut Woltjen, Associate Professor at the Cira in Kyoto, described the revolutionary discoveries of Professor Yamanaka, Nobel Prize Winner for Medicine and Physiology, in the field of stem cells. He detailed hte current therapeutic medical advances of these discoveries and evoked all fields of application linked to this stem cell research.
Dr. Patrick Choisy, Head of the Department of Innovation Natural Materials and Sustainable Development at LVMH Recherche, presented his perspective on the specific energetic metabolism of plants, in particular that of flowers, and explained how they can serve as a model, opening up incredible perspectives for both medicine and cosmetics.
Next, Dr. Ian Stephen, Doctor of Neuroscience from the Psychology Department of Macquarie University (Sydney) described his research into how the skin’s heath reflects the physical appearance and thereby modulates perception, and influences the way in which we are perceived by others.
The morning continued with the presentation of the major scientific innovations present within the brand-new Capture Totale Serum. This is the opportunity to evoke, on a wider scale, the fundamental values of Dior Skincare, now resolutely aiming to establish the notion of conscious beauty. This new era is nourished by pioneering advances of LVMH Science as well as by a constant search for naturality and responsibility.
Last of all, in a dazzling conclusion to this 2019 Summit, supermodel and New York Times Best-Selling Author, Gisele Bundchen, the face of Capture Totale, and world-famous actress Li Bing Bing, held a conversation together, discussing their respective actions as United Nations Goodwill Ambassadors attached to protecting the environment. These two stunning and committed women, reflect the image of Dior Skincare, continually seeking beauty, performance, serenity, and respect for our planet.
