If you’re not familiar with Jurlique, it is a company that was founded by Dr. Jurgen Klein, a biochemist, and his wife, Ulrike, a botanist. They had always been passionate believes in the healing power of nature. Their vision was to create a pure and natural skincare range combining the ancient arts of alchemy, herbal medicine, and homeopathy to reconnect people to nature. The name Jurlique comes from a blend of both Jurgen and Ulrike’s first names. Cute, isn’t it?

I have this in two scents: Citrus and Lemon, Geranium & Clary Sage. I love both of them but I think I love the Citrus scent just a little bit more! It smells like a lemon cake in my opinion – absolutely delicious. The lotion is light and absorbs into the skin quickly but provides you easily with all day long moisture, which is something that we truly need in these colder, winter months.

Jurlique Restoring Shower Gel | $24

This indulgent shower gel is also rich in pure organic botanicals and natural fragrance and will naturally cleanse your skin and soften it. It leaves your skin feeling deeply refreshed, beautifully scented, and visibly glowing. It is mild and soap free. It maintains your skin’s natural protective layer to deeply cleanse without drying. Its chamomile, licorice, and rosemary extracts leave skin feeling smooth and hydrated, while its natural lemon, geranium, and clary sage fragrance balances and restores. It is free from soaps, sulphates, parabens, silicones, PEGs, artificial colors, and fragrances.

I have the shower gel only in the scent of Lemon, Geranium & Clary Sage. It’s definitely still a citrusy type of scent but has a little more spice to it than the Citrus scent. It’s very nice! It leaves a light scent lingering behind on your skin and doesn’t strip your skin of its natural moisture. When you pair it with the body lotion, the scent intensifies and lasts all throughout the day.

Overall, if you’re looking for a nice treat to pamper yourself and your skin, I think the Jurlique Shower Gel and Body Lotions are definitely the way to go. I love the mission of Jurlique and the story behind them. These would even make a great little gift set for one of your family or loved ones.
