I have tried The Body Shop’s Body Butters in the past so the product is not new to me, but the scent is. I find that the formula for the Vanilla Pumpkin Body Butter is the same formula that we all know and love. These are high quality, heavy moisturizers that are particularly important to use during these cooler fall and winter months. The amount of product that you get in the cute little tub is huge. Since you only need a small amount, the tub will last you for a long while. The Body Butter itself is a on the thicker side, thicker than a typical lotion, but provides much better hydration than a standard lotion. Your skin will feel 10 times better after applying this product – trust me! If you are not a person who wears perfume a lot but relies on your lotion for fragrance, this would be a great product for you. The scent really lingers all day long. Even if you do wear perfume, you’ll still enjoy this product too! I’ve tried a lot of lotions that smell great upon application but the scent fades off rather quickly. This is definitely not one of those. If you want to smell delicious all day long, this will be the Body Butter for you.
Fall into autumn with this Vanilla Pumpkin Shower Gel. Lather up with this indulgent shower time treat!
This Shower Gel provides a very rich lather. It’s a soap-free cleansing wash, made with the same yummy scent as the Vanilla Spice Body Butter. I have not had the opportunity to try any shower gels from The Body Shop before. This Shower Gel is intense and I mean that in the best way possible. It fills the entire bathroom with the sweet scent of Vanilla Pumpkin and leaves a nice light scent that lingers on your skin after you dry off. The scent will not last very long on its own and it isn’t overpowering at all.
I find when I layer the Body Butter on top of the Shower Gel, the scent really lingers all day long. In terms of moisturizing your skin, this Shower Gel cleanses your skin without drying it out. You literally only need a small amount of this product to get a rich, luxurious lather. I like to use it on a body loofa but you can most certainly use this on a traditional washcloth and experience the lather too!
The Vanilla Pumpkin Hand Cream is another autumn inspired indulgence that quickly absorbs to soften your skin and help protect your hands. This product claims to leave your hands feeling soft and moisturized while having a light, non-greasy texture. It comes in a convenient travel sized tube.
As with the Shower Gel, this is the first time I have tried a Hand Cream from The Body Shop. Needless to say, I enjoy this product a lot! I think the price is very reasonable for the amount of product you get in the tube. Also, I love the way The Body Shop packages their hand creams. The tube allows seems to “shrink” as you use the product, so it’s easy to get every last bit out of the tube without wasting any product or struggling to get it out.
The size of the tube is perfect to keep in your purse (or even on your desk) and won’t take up too much room. You only need a small amount, about a pea sized dab, to coat both of your hands. The cream rubs in nicely and the scent lingers on your hands. I do find that this Hand Cream sinks into the skin quickly and does not leave your hands feeling greasy or oily. Another thing to note for those of us who tend to get sensitive, dry, red skin on our hands from the cooler months – the fragrance in this product did not personally irritate my hands.
All in all, if you are a fan of warm, vanilla scents with a little bit of a twist, I think you will really enjoy the Vanilla Pumpkin Collection from The Body Shop. I like to personally use fragrances from the same collection when I can because the scents obviously don’t clash with each other.
