Now, I have to first say I am a foundation snob. My skin is super-sensitive and I am skeptical of all the claims these cosmetic companies say. With that being said, I am in love with the NEW Revlon Age Defying CC Cream ($13.99).

With the first swipe of my brush on my skin, I could hear the cosmetic angels sing. I felt like J-Lo in her “Waiting for Tonight” video; I was glowing! The coverage was sheer — I could still see my own skin shining through — yet it was also buildable. I did not feel like I was wearing a face full of makeup, rather like I had just put on my moisturizer.

I always like to think of a face as my canvas — the place where I create my art. I am sure that you have heard this analogy… and before painting any canvas, it must be properly primed. This is the equivalent of prepping our faces for makeup application.

Recently, I received Revlon‘s NEW Age Defying Wrinkle Remedy Line Filler ($12.99). It is a “lightweight, colorless formula with hyaluronic acid that instantly fills in deep lines and wrinkles.”
Hyaluronic acid is used in cosmetics as a humectant/antioxidant, and is believed to help fight aging. The product had a somewhat waxy consistency, but disappeared into my skin leaving behind a soft, silky feel.
Most products in this category usually leave a film-like feeling to the skin, so I was happy to find that this product did not. An added bonus is that it is a dual product: It can be applied to the fine lines around the eyes, laugh lines and those pesky lines around the mouth.
You no longer have to worry about wearing bright colors that lead to lipstick bleeding outside your natural lip line. Just apply the line filler around your lips and proceed to apply your favorite lipstick.
