The Colored Girl is proud to unveil another stunning campaign, inspired by leading cosmetics brand MAKE UP FOR EVER, featuring empowering women of color championing their causes to make a statement about beauty and advocacy. Victory Jones & Tori Elizabeth, the dynamic creative duo behind The Colored Girl, have teamed up with MAKE UP FOR EVER to create a second wave of the beauty brand’s #blendinstandout campaign, which asked six boundary-pushing influencers, “What do you stand for?” A campaign supporting community, self-expression and the celebration of all people, #blendinstandout originally launched on MAKE UP FOR EVER’s owned social channels in late February, featuring the Melanin Goddess herself, Khoudia Diop.
Successfully using its platform as a tool of change to showcase diversity and stand up for inclusion, The Colored Girl chose to partner with MAKE UP FOR EVER because they share the same core values. MAKE UP FOR EVER recognizes the unique beauty in all people and has always celebrated both individuality and inclusion. The brand has long been known for its industry-leading, high-performance products featuring one of the widest complexion ranges available on the market. With MAKE UP FOR EVER, there is a shade for everyone.
For The Colored Girl’s take on MAKE UP FOR EVER’s #blendinstandout, each woman expresses her own unique, natural beauty through the campaign images, shares her favorite complexion product and advocates for the cause that matters most to her. Equal education, body positivity, co-parenting and anti-bullying are just a few of the issues the women stand for—and they look absolutely stunning doing so!
