Review, Photos: Dr. Jules Nabet L. Boxin Mask

As a true Francophile, anything that originates from France really catches my interest. Especially if it’s in the realm of beauty or skincare. So when I had a chance to try a new Parisian skincare product, I was tres excited to get started.

The new treatment is the Dr. Jules Nabet L. Boxin Mask. It contains Lysedines B (naturally occurring enzymes), Hyaluronic Acid and Vitamins E and C. Together, they are supposed to work together to give you younger looking skin.

The package contains a jar of active powder and a bottle of fluid. Just combine, mix and presto… a pale green, fluffy concoction formed that I slathered on my freshly washed face. The instructions said to use the entire contents of both bottle and jar, so I did. However, so much product was formed that a lot was wasted (next time I would use half of each).

Upon application, there was a cooling tingle, which continued for the duration of the time I had it on my face. It took about 25 minutes to dry (so this is not for a night when you’re in a rush!) and I used a soft bristled complexion brush to rinse it off.

After rinse off, my skin was visibly brighter and refreshed. I followed up by applying my usual night cream and then went to bed. The next morning, my skin looked fresh and well rested. So I would definitely give this one a whirl again. Results were not dramatic, but seemed solid.

This product retails for $62.00 and can be found on www.DrJulesNabetSkincare.com.
