Spring was in the air at last night’s launch of gud ™ from Burt’s Bees. The aroma alone was delightful and all I saw were beautiful bouquets of flowers that are also reminiscent of both the Dior and Lancôme Spring 2012 palettes.
From the imagination of Burt’s Bees comes line called gud. This line up is a collection of fragrances that meet guilt-free standards. The formulas contain No Parabens, No Phthalates, No Petrochemicals and No testing on animals- ever! Four collections are part of the launch: Vanilla Flame ™, Orange Petalooza ™, Floral Cherrynova ™ and *Pearanormal Activity ™.
On hand was the spiritual intuitive Sasha Graham who was featured in the Pearanormal Activity ™ part of the room and read the attendees Tarot Cards.
White DIY Topping on Oliver Cheng were part of the Vanilla Flame and custom made tie die Tees with clever taglines such as” gud happen, not bad” were also available to all who attended.
I did spend some time with the Brand Manager, Garret Putman, and we discussed the QR codes on some of the items. This was a first for Burt’s Bees to incorporate the QR code onto the outer packaging. Once scanned, a coupon, wallpaper and info on the products popped up on my smart phone. Though this line is a division of the Burts Bees company, they have a more edgy and colorful look to them. The scents are more sophisticated appear and really invigorated my senses. They are intended to be sniffed every five minutes I assure you!
All four scents come in a line up consisting of a Natural Nourishing Shampoo ($ 6.99), Natural Softening Conditioner ($ 6.99), Natural Body Butter ($ 11.99), Natural Body Lotion ($ 6.99), Natural Body Mist ($ 5.99), Natural Foaming Hand Wash ($ 4.99) and Natural Hand Cream ( $ 7.99). * Please note that the Pearanormal Activity ™ lineup is sold EXCLUSIVELY at Target until November 2012. But the other products are available at select food, drug and mass retailers and on www.gudproducts.com.
Smells delicious and is affordable, too? “Gud” really does happen! So tell us, are these products “gud” enough for you to try? Leave a comment below and we might giveaway some free samples.
