As I approach the ripe old age of thirty-nine, I am stepping up my game with skincare. From what I have seen working behind cosmetic counters, American women in general are more into covering up their skin instead of taking care of it from a young age. I have done a fair job in taking care of my skin — most people think I’m only twenty-seven. Not bad! As a beauty blogger, I get the lucky job of trying out the latest and the greatest products. And this product is PROOF you don’t have to spend a fortune to take care of your skin.
L’Oréal states in their Age Perfect product campaign, ‘as skin matures, it’s gradually depleted of essential nutrients.’ Therefore, L’Oréal Paris Age Perfect Hydra-Nutrition Advanced Skin Repair Serum offers concentrated nutrients for extraordinary repairing action.
Basically, we all have damaged our skin in one form or another due to the environment, smoking, or stress. This product is going to help you turn back the clock and try to undo the damage your skin has gone through. It has an intensifying repairing action that re-cushions from within, leaving skin more resilient and providing intense hydration and an evenness to the skin tone.
My take on this product? It reminded me of the Bobbi Brown Intensive Skin Supplement, but in a good way. I have to say I do really like this product and its affordability. It has a nice scent, and it absorbed into my skin quickly. I was able to put foundation on right away. As you might or might not remember from my previous posts, I have combination skin and found that this was just enough hydration for morning and night…I even gave to my mom to try. She has dry skin, and is in her 60s and also found it hydrating enough for daytime. But she would need something heavier at night.
As I have stated above I loved the Bobbi Brown Intensive Skin Supplement, but for $67.00 it’s not first on my list to purchase. But L’Oréal Age Perfect Hydra-Nutrition at $19.99 is certainly something worth adding to your skin care regime.
