I’ve always admired Bobbi Brown’s dedication to beauty, and this admiration extends to the extremely shimmery Holiday 2011 “Party Collection” (remember to check out her iconic lip palette here, which is a true jewel!
The Party Collection consists of a beautiful “Party Shimmer Brick” which has a high luster combination of silver and gold- – sure to brighten your face. It retails for $40 and makes for a great stocking stuffer too!
The Holiday collection also features two gorgeous eye shadow paint palettes: one in Chocolate & Gold; and another in Onyx and Silver.
I just love how sleek and elegant the eye shadow paint palette looks; it’s not heavy at all, and is understated yet edgy.

From left to right: swatches in Tinsel, Silver, Lava, Blue Onyx. The Blue Onyx is my personal favorite because it’s a blue with black undertones, and very disco. The Silver is a truly nice, hefty deep silver: all these were applied with a wet brush so you can see how well they wear on the skin. The eye shadow palette is great for a silvery smokey eye.
The Chocolate and Gold Eye Shadow Paint Palette is a beauty! It’s for those damsels who crave a bit more gold in their eye shadow (you can decide which one is for you, but my recommendation is to keep the colors together –although if you’re adventurous, you can mix gold and silver and see how it turns out!)
From left to right: Gold Long Wear Eye Paint, Bronze, Chocolate, Black Gold. The Gold is faint, and you will need a few coats with a wet brush to see the color but if you’re going to effect more than color then one coat is just fine. The Black Gold and Chocolate are my two faves from this set.
These are LIMITED EDITION so make sure you get your paws on them stat. They make for beautiful holiday stocking stuffers.
