After seeing the consistent models used throughout this year’s ad campaigns for Lancôme Paris, I recently fell for the Midnight Roses Fall 2012 Color Collection. I love how Lancôme Paris changes up the looks of their models, so we can really see how the colors can be applied to the same models and get different looks per season. There are different color palettes for different skin tones, yet I do believe the rose/berry family could look good on anybody! I also liked the sultry looks of the models and saw a lot of berry and deep rose tones especially in their new lipsticks. The overall look read strong and fierce to me. Certainly with a Parisian twist, no doubt!
What I got to sample was an eyeliner and nail polish as the collection is very limited in samples. Le Crayon Khôl ($25.50) is available in six shades; this smudgy, creamy, smooth eye pencil can either deliver a dose of color or be smudged for the perfect smokey eye. The colors are smoldering and added depth to my look after application. This Le Crayon Khôl is part of the new collection and is named Purple Dusk.
There is also new L’Absolu Nu Replenishing and Enhancing Lipcolors ($29.50), a limited edition Fall 2012 Vernis in Love Fade Resistant Gloss Shine Nail Polish ($15.00) and Mat Top Coat ($15.00), a limited edition Fall 2012 collection Eye Brightening All-in-One 5 Shadow and Liner Color Design Palette ($49.00) and a Blush Subtil Palette Face Sculpting and Illuminating All-in-One Contour, Blush and Highlighter ($42.00).
As usual, you can always find the staple Liner Design Long Wear Calligraphy Gel Eyeliner in ten shades ($24.50), Modèle Sourcils Brow Groomer ($24.00), Le Lipstique LipColoring Stick with Brush ( $24.50) and more! Whenever I am at a Lancôme Paris counter, there is always something I can purchase and know it will be of great quality and have longevity in my handbag!
Right now, this limited edition collection is available at all Lancôme Paris counters by logging onto www.lancome.com. 2012 seems to be the year of the strong lip and eye, and I am excited to try these new berry/rose colors on. Which color palette are you most looking forward to wearing?
