MODA Rose 4 Piece Face Perfecting Kit | $24.99
If you’re anything like me, you’re constantly on the hunt for the new and best makeup brushes. Even if I’ve found one (or several) that I really like, I’m always looking for the next best thing.
I’ve been testing out the Rose 4 Piece Face Perfecting Kit from MODA Brush. Round, oval style brushes are new to me so I’ve had a lot of fun experimenting with these brushes!
This four piece kit allows you to create a flawless complexion. The dense, ultra-soft brushes apply and blend cream and liquid makeup with minimal absorption, leaving more makeup for application. The unique shapes are designed to fit the contours of your face for optimal blending.
Here’s what the kit includes:

801: Use this large brush for all over cream or liquid foundation application. Move the brush in one fluid movement over your face to apply and blend.

802: Ideal for blush or bronzer application for a stunning glow.

803: Create a flawlessly blended contour under your cheekbones, along your jawline, or at the hairline.

804: This small brush is perfect for precisely applying concealer, blending makeup under your eyes, or for contouring your nose or other small areas of the face.
As an added bonus, these brushes are synthetic – so they’re 100% vegan!
Each brush has the MODA logo on the handle, which is ribbed in texture. The brushes are constructed to be lightweight although not too light. They have a bit of weight to them but they aren’t overly heavy. I would say they’re a perfect balance somewhere right in the middle. I also love the color of the bristles. The base of the bristles are white which fades into cute pink tips.
Here’s a closer look at the brushes individually.
The
801 Brush is the largest brush out of them all. I’ve been using this to
apply foundation all over my face and I
love the way it blends. The brush is packed densely with the softest bristles yet doesn’t absorb all of your foundation in the way a beauty sponge might. It
doesn’t leave any streaks and there
aren’t any stray hairs that shed on your face during application. I really like the construction of this brush and the finish that it gives your foundation. It’s easy to get full coverage with your full coverage foundations – you don’t have to worry about the product blending away or being sucked up by the brush.
The
802 Brush is smaller than the 801 brush and really is
perfect to apply blush or bronzer. The bristles are densely packed and soft (the same consistency through and through with this brush kit). You can use this for a powder or cream blush or bronzer and get the same gorgeous effect with either product. This is the perfect size to bronze around the hairline as well.
The
803 Brush is more suited for contouring precise places, such as underneath your cheekbones, or your jaw line. You could use this along the hairline as well. The bristles work perfectly to blend out contour and give you that flawless, shadow effect that you’re looking for. It’s
easy to blend away harsh lines and build up product exactly where you want it. This brush is also useful to apply highlighter on top of the cheekbones as well.
The
804 Brush is the tiniest of them all (it’s super cute and dainty) but works just as well! This brush works great to
blend out under eye concealer or even to spot conceal any blemishes you might have on your face. I particularly love this blush for
nose contouring. It’s hard to find the right brush for that type of contour but this one is nice, not only because of the size but because of the shape. You could certainly use this brush to apply eye makeup, whether it be in the crease or underneath the eye.
Overall, I’m super impressed with the quality of these brushes. Even better, they are super affordable. At just $24.99, you get four great brushes that allow you to apply any type of face makeup you would need. They apply product beautifully and make blending a breeze.
There are a variety of other brushes made by MODA as well which I am intrigued to try. For the price and the value of the items that you’re getting in this kit, I would
highly recommend this to anyone – whether you are a makeup beginner or consider yourself more advanced. I think this kit offers something that everyone will love. If you have a makeup lover in your life, this would make a perfect stocking stuffer or holiday gift as well!
