Vivienne Sabo is a new brand to me! I was excited to give these products a whirl as I always love testing our new products, especially when they’re from brands that I haven’t heard of yet! The brand’s inspiration can be described as
romantic Parisian, cheerful, light, and spontaneous. Vivienne Sabo products are not tested on animals either, so that’s a bonus! They offer a wide variety of products, from mascaras to lipsticks to eyeliners. You can also purchase these products on
Amazon.
Vivienne Sabo Regard Coquet Eyeliner
This soft velvet textured pencil allows you to draw an ideal thin line. It is a traditional pencil liner, so you will have to sharpen it as it wears down. I have this in a black shade.
The product
glides on rather nicely against the skin. It’s definitely not one of those “hard” pencils but it isn’t overly creamy either – which I find makes it perfect to use on the waterline of your eyes. Since it doesn’t slide around a lot, it tends to have
great staying power on the waterline. You can smudge this pencil out within a few seconds of applying it before it sets.
Vivienne Sabo Lipstick
This formula applies easily on the lips. It is a perfect moisturizing and comfortable lipstick. The lipstick is very pigmented and application is easy. There are a wide range of colors available, from nudes to bright red tones, as well as a variety of finishes, from classic cream to glossy to pearlescent.
The shade that I have is a gorgeous bright toned red. The bottom of the tube says the shade name is 715. This lipstick has an
amazing fruity scent that I absolutely love. The wear time is nice and the formula is extremely comfortable on the lips. It applies smooth and there is
no streaking or areas where the color skips during application. For extra precision, you can apply this with a brush after you’ve lined your lips.
Vivienne Sabo Matte Magnifique Lipstick
Matte lips are all the rage right now! This lipstick does not just provide the ideal matte effect but it also is super soft and velvety on your lips without being drying. The pigment is beautiful on this lipstick. There is no streaking or patchiness as you apply it. This is a liquid lipstick; however, it’s not the traditional formula you think of when you hear liquid lipstick. It doesn’t completely dry down or cause your lips to feel parched. It’s more of a “melted” liquid lipstick. It isn’t transfer proof but it does have great staying power on the lips and I find that this shade also provides a sort of “staining” effect.
I love the flat doe foot applicator on this product. It makes it easy to get
precise lines on your lips so the color goes where you want it go to. The
formula is pretty weightless as well. It’s definitely a lipstick that you won’t “feel” on your lips as you wear it. There are eight shades available of the Matte Magniqifue lipstick. It also has a
very nice, light scent to it, slightly on the fruity side in my opinion.
Vivenne Sabo Cabaret Premiere Mascara
The Cabaret Premiere Mascara is a volumizing mascara. The formula is light and claims to be clump free. The wands have plastic brushes that evenly distribute the mascara and provide phenomenal volume. There are four shades available: Classic Black, Violette, Blue, and Marine. The gold packaging is super cute as well!
I have two of these mascaras, one of them is black and one of them is an aqua shade. As you can see, the wand has shorter, more spikey bristles, which helps to volumize the lashes from base to tip. I found this
formula wore perfectly. There were no clumps as I applied it. Throughout the day, I noticed absolutely no flaking or smudging (and these are not waterproof formulas either). I’m truly enjoying these mascaras! I love wearing the aqua shade on the lower lash line for a little pop of color.
Vivienne Sabo Femme Fatale Mascara
The Femme Fatale Mascara claims to provide volume and color with one stroke of the brush. The brush has a special shape, with a pointed tip, that allows you to evenly distribute mascara along the entire length of the eyelashes to create panoramic volume.
As you can see, this brush is very different from the brush in the Cabaret Premiere mascara. The
bristles are natural. It will really come down to preference as to whether you prefer natural or plastic bristles on your mascara wands. I found this formula to
provide nice definition on the lashes and it did create a bit of volume. I’ll share some pictures towards the end of the review.
Vivienne Sabo Charbon Liquid Liner
This liquid liner has an ultra-thin applicator and the liner dries quickly on your lids, without cracking or flaking. The applicator is a felt tip applicator (not a brush tip) so you won’t have to worry about the brush hairs fraying.
I found the formula to be slightly more on the liquid side, which is a plus as it glides on easily. It dries rather quickly so it won’t transfer to your upper eye lid as you wait for it to dry. The formula is
fairly pigmented in one swipe, so you won’t need to go over your liner over and over to achieve
dark, saturated color. This product would be great for those of you who like to really wing your liner! The tip of the brush is very fine so you will be able to achieve a super precise edge and tip on your wing.
Vivienne Sabo Couleurs Fraiches Lip Gloss
This lip gloss comes in eight different shades. The formula is enriched with ingredients that restore and soften your lips. The thin brush applicator makes it easy to give your lips a glamorous vinyl shine. The lip gloss has a fresh, berry aroma as well!
This lip gloss has a brush tip applicator. So, you apply the gloss by squeezing the product up through the tube and out of the brush tip. I find this
gloss isn’t sticky but it has a little bit of thickness to it, which is nice, because it hangs around on your lips longer. You’ll need to apply this more frequently since it is a lip gloss. The shade I have is a nice coral-orange. The
pigmentation is fairly nice for a lip gloss. It’s a sheer color but you can definitely see it on the lips and it gives your lips a more plumped-up look.
