Votre Vu, known for its minimal, subtle and understated attitude toward embracing aging with confidence, has launched 8 new products under the name French Accents Premier Color Collection. I knew Votre Vu for its lush botanicals and vitamin-enriched skin care line, so I was excited to see the company branch out in what seemed a natural progression… cosmetics! They embody the French philosophy of simple beauty with their products handcrafted in France.
The eight products that are now available ONLY via www.votrevu.com are wonderful! I used almost every newly launched product, with the exception of the Arch De Triumphe Brow Definer ($16.80). As you know, my eyebrows are tattooed. I know I will use the Brow Brush & Shaper ($12.60) for other things as it’s multifunctional in use.
I started with the Lingerie Pour Les Yeux ($20.30), which is an anti-aging eyelid smoother that over the course of three weeks is said to clinically reduce fine lines by 26%. It was creamy, smooth and acted just as a primer would. Then, I used the Love Me Deux ($30.10), which is a nourishing tinted moisturizer with a concealer in a cap. I loved the multifunction aspect of the it; I was able to touch up my red spots near my nose and such. This product contains French kaolin clay, aloe vera, honeysuckle extracts and jojoba oil for a smooth finish.
The Le Joli Crayon ($16.10) is the smudge-and-set soft eyeliner, and even comes with its own pencil sharpener at no additional charge. It applied smoothly in the black color Charbon; Aubergine is also available. The smudge end softened the overall look and the Eiffel Power ($16.80) lengthening and fortifying mascara finished off the look wonderfully by adding both length and volume to my lashes. The brush was sized XXL for all those hard-to-reach lashes for sure!
The Vu-On Rouge ($20.30) is a sheer moisture of color that can be used on both lips and face. I used mine in French Tulip for both lips and cheeks and found it to be moisturizing and emollient, yet it did not feather on my lips, and added sheer color to my cheekbones. Finally the Beauté En Bronze ($23.80) — a tantalizing bronzer duo that not only added a radiant glow to my face but the lighter portion added a highlight to the apples of my cheeks as well as my eyes! I also put a dab on the bridge of my nose to lengthen it. The Belle Poudre HD Sheer Face Finish ($20.30) was the finishing mineral based powder — the last step to keep my oil at bay, protect and mask my skin’s imperfections; the powder has a built-in brush too! The bottom contains the powder that is offered in four shades to meet every skin tone’s needs.
Only available online at www.votrevu.com is this new French Accents collection. See if you like it as much as I do. Make sure to check out the brand now, as the site is having a sale! Votre Vu is about YOU BEING YOU and noting that your daily skin care regimen should have ingredients that both enhance and accent your beautiful, individual features…
