Here are four products filled with argan oil from the Josie Maran Pure & Simple 4-Piece Argan Skincare Ritual kit (available at QVC.com (see price there too) designed to “cleanse, nourish, protect and beautify.” All products contain Josie Maran’s signature wonder ingredient, argan oil; rich in essential fatty acids and vitamin E, argan oil is “clinically proven to improve skin’s hydration and elasticity, and can be used on the face, hair, hands, toes and everywhere in between.”
Argan Cleansing Oil –
100% Pure Argan Oil:
This 100% organic, lightweight, anti-aging daily moisturizer is said to visibly “reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles while imparting a youthful, radiant glow.” It can also be used to treat split ends or condition cuticles.
I used this several times, chiefly at night; it just felt a tad too greasy for day. It does not have the same intoxicating scent found in the cleansing oil, but it is an excellent night treatment that goes on smoothly and absorbs beautifully. By morning, my face was dewy, not sticky. I did not notice a difference in the fine line and wrinkle department. But honestly, I did not expect to as I think those claims tend to be exaggerated. Still, a good, solid product yielding good results.
Argan Daily Moisturizer Protect + Perfect Broad Spectrum SPF 40 Tinted Lotion:
Designed to “defend skin against the harmful effects of UVA/UVB radiation,” this non-chemical formula “delivers a universally flattering tint to correct imperfections and even out skin tone.” Okay ladies, can you here my whoops of joy from all the way out here in Brooklyn? I just love this product! A healthy SPF of 40 in a fluid, tinted formula? Count me in! This provided such good coverage that a couple of times I skipped my foundation and just used this along with Argan Color Stick (see below). Results were great; my face felt finished, not mask-like, but the coverage was excellent. Easy-to-blend, easy-to-wear, this one is a total winner. Sold!
Argan Color Stick:
This argan oil-based dual purpose sheer tint blush is good for both lips and cheeks. I liked the ease of application: it went on nicely and blended well. The color, Beautiful, is said to be a good shade for all skin types. I liked the way it looked on my face, where it gave me a rosy, healthy glow, but less so on my lips — too pale for this diehard red lover! But if you’re aiming for the au naturel look, this would be a winner. And since it saves space in your makeup bag, it’s a great product for travel or even just toting around town.
