As twelve models marched from 57th Street and Fifth Avenue in NYC to Saks Fifth Avenue, all I could think about was their new Dior Addict Extreme Lipstick! 12 new shades were launched and each model wore one, as well as the four new Dior Addict Vernis nail polishes. I love when a company makes a bold and playful marketing move!
Tyen, the artistic director of Dior Makeup created a dynamic, fashion-inspired color palette based on Christian Dior’s vision of seeing models wearing original shades of lipstick in tones that harmonize with each color. The collection features four color families: sophisticated, natural beige shades; variations of essential pinks; bright, playful colors and glamorous, intense shades. Within each family is a standout shade.
Dior Addict Extreme Lipstick launches this April and will have 12 bold shades that combine vibrant colors with luminous shine and wearability. The new formula features an exclusive combination of four waxes, hyaluronic acid spheres and delicate, shine-boosting oils for an exclusive lightweight finish.

They glide easily upon my lips and range from vibrant colors to neutral nudes. I liked the creamy texture of the lipstick as I am a huge lip gloss wearer. I applied the lipstick at 7:30 am and then again at noon. I tend to have dry lips, so I might need more applications than others. This is not meant to be an all-day, one application lipstick stain. The range of colors is sure to please all types of personalities for certain. Dior Addict Vernis will launch four new shades of colorful “color block” nail polish meant to be mixed and matched, which is the Dior Addict style. Reinventing the color block trend, Dior Vernis polishes echo the four Dior Addict Extreme shades for the ideal color coordination. Pure, radiant shades were created for this collection. Plaza is a refined mauve inspired by the iconic Plaza Athenese Hotel on the Avenue Montaigne; Riviera is an electric coral and a nod to Christian Dior’s love of sunny locales; Lucky is a bold, dazzling pink shade inspired by Kate Moss and named for one of Christian Dior’s favorite models of the 1950’s and Incognito is a chic, discreet greige reminiscent of the chic minimalistic chic of Parisian women.
