Imagine it’s the day of date night, and you’ve completely gotten your whole outfit together. The perfect little black dress, perfect pumps, and you already know your make up is going to be #flawless. However, you realize you are missing one thing: the perfect deep lippie shade. You need a shade that speaks volumes and makes you feel and look like the sexiest woman alive. Well, have no fear my dear, here for you are 5 MAC lip sticks that will give you the perfect sultry look for date night.

The first shade myself and my sister- in-law Lauren tried was the shade Antique Velvet. Antique Velvet is a beautiful deep reddish-brown color. Even though it is classified as matte it looks and feels smooth almost like a satin MAC lipstick.

The second shade we tried is Diva. Diva is a slightly brighter red shade that still gives off a sexy, sultry look.

The next shade is Sin. Sin literally looks like it sounds. It’s one of the sexier colors out of the shades we tried. It is very, very matte and sort of difficult to apply, but once its on, its gorgeous. I wore Sin all day at work and received compliments all day on how beautiful it looked. Prepping my lips with a lip scrub and natural oil prior to using it helped it apply easier.

Taraji P. Henson’s shade is this lovely deep gold/brown color that is a more nude and natural color for date night that has the same impact as all the red shades. On lighter skin tones it will look really dark but equally as sexy.

The last but definitely not least is the shade High Drama. High Drama is a one of MAC’s liquid matte lipsticks. Lets start by saying I’m definitely a fan of liquid lipsticks. I love that they are transfer proof, long lasting, and that they don’t smudge or budge through out the day, same thing with MAC’s lippies. The first thing I noticed about MAC’s formula is how light it feels on the lips (Lauren stated the same thing). It literally feels like nothing is there but it’s super pigmented. Secondly, the color High Drama looks like smooth velvet on the lips. It is so pretty, I’m not even sure if pictures do this color any justice. After applying this color, I left it on and just kept looking at it. It’s a very deep red/maroon color. This experience has prompted me to purchase all of MAC’s liquid matte lipsticks.
