Palladio offers botanical and vitamin-infused cosmetics for a price that won’t hurt your wallet! I’m excited about the Crushed Metallic Shadows, $6.00. Check out the pigment in the swatches! At first glance, I thought this was going to be a powder shadow, but once you touch it, it turns into a cream shadow with an intense, foiled, metallic finish. Once the shadow sets, it has great staying power.
With 11 other shades available, the Palladio Crushed Metallic Shadows are finely-crushed, ultra-concentrated pigments which provide an intense pay-off and high-impact color that lasts up to 24 hours. The shade that I reviewed is called Meteor – a beautiful copper shade. Aloe and Chamomile Extracts, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride and Glycerin derivatives condition the eyelid and allow for a smooth application. Safflower Oil and Panax Ginseng Root contain anti-inflammatory products that help nourish the skin and preserve the natural barrier while helping prevent the delicate eye area from drying. Vitamins A & E help protect against free radical damage.
The Butter Me Up! Sheer Color Lip Balms, $8, are perfect for the cooler weather that we are heading into for fall. These lip balms provide a great amount of color, along with shine, to your lips. The colors that I reviewed were Glaze (plum), Tart (orange), and Sweet (pink). I really love the Sweet shade. It is what I’m wearing in the below photo. These balms are available in 8 shades and combine Shea Butter along with Castor and Jojoba Oils for a high dose of moisture. They also help make your lips soft and smooth. In addition the balms include Vitamins A & C to help protect your lips from free-racial damage.
The lip balms aren’t sticky at all! They glide on smoothly and provide a decent amount of color pay off. These are by far the best colored lip balms I have ever tried. They are not as pigmented as a lipstick, but they are not as sheer as some of the lip balms on the market. As you can see from the photo, the shade Sweet shows up very nicely on my lips.
