If you are one of the almost 6 million people who follow Internet sensation Naomi Giannopoulos (aka Vegas Nay) on Instagram, then you too squealed with delight when you heard that she was teaming up with Too Faced Cosmetics for a new eye shadow palette. The makeup guru has fans worldwide who admire her beautifully crafted makeup looks and now you can create these looks at home.
The new Stardust Palette features 12 gorgeous shades ranging from light Chandelier, (which could double as a highlight) to dark Sin City, (to create a range of smoky eye looks). I honestly could not pick a favorite! The textures are super smooth and silky and colors are so richly pigmented. You have to get your hands on this beautiful palette, the looks you can create are endless.
Once you open the box, you’ll find a book inside with two compartments. One one side is the Stardust Palette and on the other side are the Glamour Dust Glitter Pigment, Better Than Sex Mascara, and Shadow Insurance Primer (more on those later!). Also included are 6 cards featuring in depth guides on creating looks with the palette.
The Glamour Dust Glitter Pigment, $13.50, is perfect if you love a lot of shimmer! This super-fine glitter adds just the right amount of sparkle. Apply a little for just a hint of a glow or go all out for a va va voom look. Available in Blue Angel, Pink Fire, Nude Beam, and Glampire.
The Shadow Insurance Primer, $20, will keep your eye shadow from creasing once and for all. The waterproof formula lasts up to 24 hours and intensifies the color of cream or powder eye shadows. I wore it on a sweltering hot evening out here in NYC and applied it under my favorite new eyeshadow, Jackpot, from the Vegas Nay Stardust Palette. I wanted to put one of the shimmer shadows to the test to see if that sparkle would last all night – and I was so pleasantly surprised that it did. I didn’t end up with sparkly raccoon eyes at the end of the night, the shadow stayed put, shimmer and all!
The new Born This Way Foundation, $39, blurs the lines between makeup and skin and will have your friends jealous of your flawless skin! The formula is infused with Coconut water to replenish skin’s moisture levels, Alpine Rose to brighten skin’s appearance and promote elasticity, and Hyaluronic Acid for a smoother, more youthful appearance. There are 12 shades from smooth Porcelain to a rich Caramel and every shade in between! And there are six new shades coming this Fall.
The Love Flush Blush, $26, has a long wearing, fade-proof, smudge-proof formula to keep you looking naturally glowing all day long. For up to 16 hours, this high pigment blush gives a pretty pop of color to any skin tone. I absolutely loved all the colors I tried: Love Hangover, I Will Always Love You, and Baby Love. I found that Love Hangover gave just the right amount of a wash of pink that it perfect for daytime. Other shades avaialble are Justify My Love, How Deep Is Your Love, and Your Love Is King. I highly recommend these blushes, not only for the beautiful colors, but for the long-lasting capability!
Last but definitely not least is the famous Better Than Sex Mascara, $23. With this best seller, all you need is one application of this collagen filled mascara. With the specially shaped hourglass brush, one coat is all you need for lush lashes. My cousin is a huge fan of this mascara, and she tried it below with two coats. Add more coats and it honestly looks like you have amazing false lashes on! The formula nourishes, thickens and locks the curl in place leaving you with intensely full lashes. And, hey, with a name like that, you’ve got to give this mascara a try!
